Friday, December 29, 2006 was our long anticipated
wedding day. Looking ahead to New Year’s, we chose a
classic “black and white” theme with snow-like accents.

We decided to exchange vows at Ormond Beach Union
Church, an older church in our hometown. The
congregation’s story is rich with history and the
building has unique wood ceilings, drop lighting, and
colorful stained glass. |

Sunset Harbor Yacht Club, a newer venue just a few miles
away in Daytona Beach, was our choice for the
reception’s location. Elegant decor, beautiful windows
overlooking the river, and a luxurious bride’s room made
it an easy choice. |

We also loved that our guests could enjoy the beautiful
drive along the Halifax River from the church to the
yacht club. Dinner, a broad range of musical styles,
celebratory dancing, and laughter marked the evening. |
